Brown children: Caroline, Frederick, Ellen, Alvah, Rosa, George and Daisy

The following Brown relatives are all 2nd Great Grand Uncle/Aunts of my wife.  They are the children of Odin Brown and Sally Stevens or Odin's 2nd wife, Helen Chamberlain.

Caroline Brown

Caroline can be found living with her parents in the 1850 and 1860 Federal Censuses in Boone, Boone County, Illinois.  She was born about 1844 in New York. The only other record found for Caroline is the 1870 Federal Census in which she is living with her sister, Sophia, in Buffalo, Erie County, New York.  In the 1870 record it is noted that her occupation is a dress makes.  No other known records exist for Caroline.

Frederick Brown

Frederick can be found living with his parents in the 1850 and 1860 Federal Censuses in Boone, Boone County, Illinois.  He was born about 1846 in New York. No other known records exist for Frederick.

Ellen Brown

Frederick can be found living with her parents in the 1850 and 1860 Federal Censuses in Boone, Boone County, Illinois.  She was born about 1850 in Illinois. Ellen is buried in the Russellville Cemetery in Boone County, Illinois. No other known records exist for Ellen.

Alvah R Brown

Alvah can be found living with his parents in the 1860 Federal Census in Boone, Boone County, Illinois.  He as born about 1852 in Illinois.  Alvah died 20 October 1860 and is buried in the Russellville Cemetery in Boone County, Illinois.


Rosalinda Brown

Rosalinda can be found living with her parents in the 1860 Federal Census in Boone, Boone County, Illinois.  She as born about 1854 in Illinois.  Rosalinda died 2 November 1861 and is buried in the Russellville Cemetery in Boone County, Illinois.




George C Brown


George was born about 1864 in Illinois.  He died 19 November 1864 and is buried in the Russellville Cemetery in Boone County, Illinois.  George was the youngest child of Sally Stevens.  His father, Odin, when remarry after Sally's death in 1867.


Daisy Brown

Daisy Brown was the first born child to Odin Brown and his 2nd wife, Helen Chamberlain.  Daisy was born 2 August 1873 in Capron, Boone County, Illinois.  Daisy died 28 March 1875 in Sterling, Johnson County, Nebraska.  She is buried in the Sterling Cemetery there.
